Have your say on the Draft Playing Pitch Strategy

Consultation open until 16 June

The Playing Pitch Strategy (PPS) provides a strategic framework which ensures that the provision of outdoor playing pitches meet the local needs of existing and future residents within South Somerset until 2028. Some of the priorities identified within the strategy include new pitch provision within Chard, enhanced changing facilities at Somerton, a new cricket pitch in Yeovil, provision of new changing facilities for Chard RFC, an additional rugby pitch for Crewkerne RFC, the reinstatement of Rugby at Moor Lane, Wincanton and new Artificial grass pitch in a sustainable location in Area West.

The strategy helps to inform future funding conditions so it is important that we have accurately captured the right issues and priorities for your area of interest.  The full document and feedback for can be found here.
